Laura started working for the company in October of 1994 as the secretary. She is the behind-the-scenes person who answers the phones, handles customer service, and sets up appointments. She always enjoys seeing the end results of our team's handiwork when a project is completed.
Laura is married to David and proud mother of Ashley and her stepson, Eric. She is also mother to her four-legged babies: Bailey, Gunner, Braylon, and Oliver. When not working, Laura can be found in her kitchen baking all the cookies you could possibly eat.
Shawn has 26 years of carpentry experience and has been with Haiderer Homes for 3 years. He enjoys working on kitchens, bathrooms, and doing trim work.
He has a wife, Melissa, and two daughters, Ashley and Courtney. He enjoys spending time with his family on the weekends while fishing, camping, and riding ATVs.
David Haiderer graduated from Delta Community College with an Associate’s Degree in Residential Construction Technology in 1976. Three years later, he graduated Saginaw Valley State College with a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Technology.
In 1979, he came to Columbus from Saginaw to work for his uncle, Jim Dunn, as a carpenter. In ’81, he became an employee for the one and only Mr. Lou Breedlove of Breedlove Homes. A year later, Dave started to learn how to run a construction business as Mr. Breedlove started to step back from work more.
On April 26, 1984, Dave bought the company from Mr. Breedlove and Haiderer Homes, Inc. was born. Throughout the years, the reputation of the company grew in such as way that still leaves David humbled and more grateful than can be expressed.
To this day, David believes in getting the job done right the first time and maintains the family values the company was founded on back in 1984. He takes pride in offering quality craftsmanship to customers in the Columbus community.
David has been happily married to Laura for 25 years and a proud father of Eric and Ashley. Each year he looks forward to his annual hiking trip with Eric. They plan to hike the whole Appalachian Trail someday. In his spare time, he enjoys trap shooting with his buddies at Ceraland and, every Sunday, he looks forwards cooking for his family on his Big Green Egg.
Joe brings 30 years of experience to the company. He has been with Haiderer Homes for about 2 years. He enjoys framing and siding jobs the most.
Joe is a proud father of a son and daughter. On the weekends, he relaxes by hunting, fishing, and motorcross racing.
Chuck is the newest member to the Haiderer Homes family. He brings 20+ years of carpentry experience and enjoys every remodling job he works on.
Chuck is the proud father of a son, Dawson. During his free time, he enjoys riding his Harley and working on street rods.
